Easy Choco Bonbons
These chocolate bonbons are pure explosion of dark chocolate and nuts. I guarantee you can’t eat just one of these paradise sweets.
This is one of my recipes with 4 ingredients and it takes only 15 minutes to prepare.
What I love about this recipe is that it is also a healthy dessert for your kids, guests, friends and also diabetes people that you know.
You can make this dessert without sugar, if you want the cocoa flavor to be dominant. I want a little bit of sweetness, so in this recipe I use stevia, but sometimes I want to make my desserts with brown sugar or agave which are also healthy options.
Sometimes when I don’t have much time in the day to make a dessert, I prepare this recipe on weekends and have around 20 bonbons ready to enjoy and eat for 3-4 days.
First, you will need to melt the chocolate on steam, then add the sugar and stir continuously or until the ingredients are well combined. Add the crushed hazelnuts and almonds and continue stirring.
Place the bonbons in a fridge for 25-30 minutes and that’s it, you will be happy and proud with your new homemade dessert.

I N G R E D I E N T S
- 10.5 oz dark chocolate;
- 2.5 oz crushed hazelnuts;
- 2.5 oz crushed almonds;
- 3.5 oz stevia or brown sugar;
I N S T R U C T I O N S
- Place hazelnuts and almonds in a food processor or blender and process until they’re a little bit crushed. Remove and set aside in a dish.
- Place a wide skillet with about one inch of water and heat on medium. Bring the water to a simmer, then turn off the heat. In a heatproof bowl place your chopped chocolate, set the bowl directly in the water and stir the chocolate until it’s melted.
- Add sugar in the bowl and continue stirring
- Add the hazelnuts and almonds and continue stirring until well combined
- Place the mixture in a small paper candy cups
- Place the paper candy cups in refrigerator for about 25-30 minutes
- Serve with crushed almonds, hazelnuts or cocoa dust
